What is RAM Mounts?
RAM Mounts is a universal mounting system that allows you to mount almost anything anywhere. The RAM Mounts system, with its individually combinable single components, offers highly practical solutions that are suitable even for the most difficult mounting tasks.
RAM Mounts Applications:
Cars, off-road vehicles, trucks, vans, tractors, forklifts, airplanes, helicopters, gliders, ultralights, quads, trikes, motorcycles, bicycles, motorboats, sailboats, canoes, kayaks, snowmobiles, special vehicles, wheelchairs, fishing, golf, camping, workshop equipment, laboratories, exhibitions, trade fairs, presentations, and much more ...
Assembly of a Complete RAM Mount:
The starting point for a RAM Mounts mount is always a base (clamp, base plate, suction cup, or pipe clamp). This is followed by a connection arm (different lengths available) for the corresponding ball size and then a base plate matching the respective device holder. As the device holder, choose the appropriate cradle for your device or one of the universal holders.

RAM Mounts Ball Sizes (Diameter):
Please note that the base mount must be selected according to the weight to be supported.
The weight specifications stated here refer to static application.
Approximate guideline values for the static load capacity of the different aluminum ball sizes (without warranty):
* Please note that these are approximate values. If your device weight is close to the upper limit of a ball size, we recommend choosing the next larger ball size. When used under high loads (Heavy Duty Use), the effective load capacity is reduced by 50%. The approximate guideline values are provided by the manufacturer – National Products Inc., USA – and are based on many years of experience in a wide variety of applications. However, these values are intended only as a guideline. No warranty can be assumed for the stated values.
