What is RAM mounts?

RAM Mounts is a universal mounting system that allows you to mount almost anything anywhere. The RAM Mounts system, with its individual components that can be combined individually, offers the most practical solutions that are even suitable for the most difficult mounting tasks.

RAM mounts areas of application:

Cars, ATVs, Trucks, Vans, Tractors, Forklifts, Airplanes, Helicopters, Gliders, Ultralights, Quads, Trikes, Motorcycles, Bicycles, Motorboats, Sailboats, Canoes, Kayaks, Snowmobiles, Specialty Vehicles, Wheelchairs, Fishing, Golf, Camping, Workshop Equipment, Laboratories, exhibitions, fairs, presentations and much more...

Compilation of a RAM Mounts complete bracket:

The starting point for a RAM Mounts bracket is always a base (clamp, base plate, suction cup or clamp). Then follows a connecting arm (various lengths available) for the appropriate ball size and then a base plate to match the appropriate device holder. As a device holder, choose the right holder for your device or one of the universal holders.

RAM Mounts Ball Sizes (Diameter):

Approximate load capacity guidelines for different aluminum ball sizes (non-binding):

B-Ball – for weights up to approx. 0.90 kg*
C-Ball – for weights up to approx. 1.80 kg*
D-Ball – for weights up to approx. 2.72 kg*
E-Ball – for weights up to approx. 6.8 kg*

* Please note that these are approximate values. If your device weight is close to the upper limit of a given ball size, we recommend choosing the next larger ball dimension.
The specified guideline values are provided by the manufacturer – National Products Inc., USA – and are based on many years of experience across a wide range of applications.
Under high mechanical stress, the maximum load capacity may be reduced by up to 50% of the stated values.
This is intended as a general guideline only. No guarantee can be given for the stated values.
